Pull Request Title (e.g., Feature: Add user authentication)

Description

Having some issues on my end getting the component up and running.

After commanding face0 loadswitch on, the light sensor component (for that face) will try to read data.
On my end this is failing with the Fw::LogStringArg("Device not ready") event throwing.

I am unsure if this is because I'm not using any connector, causing the i2c to be wonky if wires are touching.
If this still fails with the connector, then it's probably a device tree issue, although I am unsure what is wrong with my device tree.
